    Another type of map is Google Maps that are simpler to use than navigation maps. Just open the app and you will know where you are on the map. The app also allows you to browse your surroundings, search for specific places like bars or restaurants and plot a course towards the next destination.

    If you are unfamiliar with 2D maps, Google Maps has a feature that allows you to explore the map from the lens of a mobile phone. Another solution is Live View that will tell Google Maps where you are if GPS is not accurate.
